Recorded upstairs in Anseo, 18 Camden street, Dublin, Ireland --- Bio --- Thomas PK Healy is a member of the International Standards Organisation's global panel for the standardisation of the C++ programming language. A lifelong computer enthusiast, Thomas began working with computers at age five and started programming in Visual Basic at eleven. By fifteen, he had ventured into C++, and during university he was introduced to embedded systems programming for PIC microcontrollers in C, later expanding to Arduino in C++. With extensive experience across multiple platforms — including DOS, MS-Windows, Linux, macOS, Barebox, and embedded environments such as Arduino, Texas Instruments, and PIC microcontrollers — Thomas has implemented his proposed C++ language features in assembler for eight CPU instruction sets (Motorola, SuperH, ARM32, AArch64, x86_32, x86_64, Hewlett Packard, and Texas Instruments). He maintains an online archive of his papers, hobby projects, and algorithms at http://virjacode.com Follow up to Thomas's presentation on "Continuity functions".
